Northern Light Association

Welcome to the Northern Light Association. If I may take just a little time out of your day to introduce myself. My name is Gloria Foster, and I am an author and poet. I first started writing poetry in my teenage years and continued throughout my life. My first poem called One Day was published by the International Library of Poetry in 2000 in In-between Days. In February 2008, I received the 2007 Editor�s Choice Award for my poem entitled The Mental Trick that was released on a music compact disc entitled The Sound of Poetry and was published in Immortal Verses also by the International Library of Poetry. Quite recently, I was asked to submit a poem for international recognition in Favourite Memories to be published in March 2009. Other awards that I have received include The Poet Fellowship Award in 2008 from Noble House. My poem entitled Fondled was published in The Best Poetry and Poets of 2007 in the Fall of 2008. I plan to have a compilation of my poetic works in a novel entitled Freedom that will include some of my poetry written over the years. I am very excited to hear your comments and feedback pertaining to my first novel that was published May 2008 entitled The Songwriter. I have never been more excited about anything I have written in my entire existence here on God�s green earth. It has always been a dream of mine to author novels, and I can rightfully testify that He has equipped me with talent in writing fiction unlike any other. I thank God for blessing me with this talent that he has bestowed on me and for recognizing that I can do all things through my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
